Prince William poses for homeless charity photos

Prince William has posed for a set of charity photographs taken by a cameraman who was once homeless.

Jeff Hubbard, 53, of Hackney, east London, took the images for an exhibition by homeless charity Crisis.

In one picture, William is shown with his hands in the pockets of his jeans, and close-up with his arms folded in front of his chest in another.

The prince also took pictures of Mr Hubbard under the guidance of celebrity photographer Rankin.

Please ask your MP to support this essential reform. At the moment, if you've paid the rent but your landlord has failed to pay the mortgage you can find yourself chucked out onto the streets with no rights when the property is repossessed. The new law would be the culmination of the Crisis A private matter? campaign and is simple, but should be effective. If it's passed, around 324,000 private tenants at risk would gain the right to be given notice to find somewhere else to live. With your help, we've got this far with the campaign. Now it's over to MPs – please ask yours to stand up and be counted at the debate on Friday 29 January and to add their name to the motion in support. And it's vital that as many MPs as possible attend on Friday - so please forward this email to friends and ask them to take action too. Asylum seekers need support Crisis is worried about Government plans to cut support for asylum seekers. Asylum seekers are already at risk of homelessness and poverty, especially if their claim is rejected. Crisis campaign wins December 2009

Crisis Campaigns   Wow! Three Crisis campaigns wins in 14 days – thanks to you       Dear Crisis e-campaigner When Crisis e-campaigners get on the case, it's amazing what happens. In the last fortnight, we've had three big campaign wins which will make a real difference to homeless people. Loads of you took e-action to back our Poor choice campaign to stop proposed cuts hitting the poorest tenants. And last week the Government said it will withdraw the plan. Many of you supported our Housing benefits, not barriers campaign since it began last year, to make sure work always pays. This week the Government said it would look at reforms on housing benefits, including measures recommended by Crisis. Crisis e-campaigners like you contacted their MPs about A Private Matter? our campaign to make sure all tenants get decent notice rather than sudden eviction when their landlord's property is repossessed. MP Brian Iddon now says he'll use a special parliamentary procedure to make this protection law. Government and opposition parties have pledged to back it. A brilliant end to 2009!
